I bought my first camera in 1969. It was a Minolta SRT101, and I had just one lens, a 50 mm f1.4. Early on my interest was in texture, possibly because I was shooting mostly in black and white. Now I'm much more interested in color. I shoot all aspects of the natural world, from nightscapes to wide panoramas to close ups of flowers. I particularly like composing a scene that contains fog, or interesting clouds. Lately I've been exploring ways to enhance subtle color variations, to turn a dull close-up into a vibrant image.
This selection of 7 images is only a tiny sample of my range of interests. I have 41 galleries and over 1000 images on my website; take a look.
