Setting up your page

Now you can do the fun part of setting up your page. It is a three-step process:

  1. Preparing your details and images.
  2. Submitting it all using the online form.
    https://form.jotform.com/210311679626152
  3. Review your page once it is set up.

Step 1 - Prepare your details and images

So here is what you need to have ready:

1. Info about you:

  • Your name as you would like it to display.
  • The main mediums you work in, like acrylic or watercolor or sculpture.
  • Your email (optional).
  • Your website and social media handles (optional)

2. A short biography or artist statement.

3. Maximum of 7 images of your work, with titles if they have them.

  • Decide which image will be your cover image (will show on the “All Artists” page).  One of the images can be a picture of yourself, if you wish. Perhaps an action shot in your studio.
  • Name your image files with your last name and the title or description of the piece:  lastname_title.jpg

The images you send should be jpeg format. Please make sure they are no more than 3-4 mb (3000 - 4000k) If you have no idea what any of this means, submit a large size image. They will be formatted for you before putting on your gallery page.

Feel free to check the member gallery pages on the LAA website to get some ideas of what other artists have done.

Step 2. Submit it all using our online form.

Once you are ready, click on the following link. It will take you to an online form where you can input everything you collected in step 1.

https://form.jotform.com/210311679626152

Step 3. Review your page.

After your page is created, it will be shared with you. Please check it, particularly the links, email, image titles.

Updating your existing page.

Review your existing page and send us your updates using the same online form. You only need to add the information that needs updating.

More about pictures

jpg, .jpeg preferred, .png accepted. They will be converted to jpg.

  • 1200 pixels (or ppi) on the shortest side
  • 72 -96 dpi
  • File name is lastname_title, as in Smith_sunrise.jpg ****please pay attention to this. It makes our job easier and less likely for us to make mistakes.****

If you aren't sure how to prepare them, just make sure the file size is greater than 200 kb (otherwise they are too small to work with) and try to make them no more than 3000kb (3MB). If in doubt, submit what you have.

You can submit up to 7 images.

All images will be watermarked prior to posting.

LAA Gallery in Downtown Livermore

Livermore Art Association members are eligible to join the Livermore Art Association Gallery, as long as their work is juried in by members of the gallery and there is room for their work. The LAA Gallery displays both 2-D and 3-D work of both artists and crafters. Because of its limited size, only a small number of artists can be in the LAA Gallery at a time. If an artist is juried in and there is no room for their work, they can be put on a wait list and admitted at a later time.

For more information and to request an LAA Gallery Artist Contract, email the LAA Gallery Director Peggy Kervin gallery@livermoreart.org
