Selected artworks will be featured at the Symphony’s Spring Awakenings concert on April 11, 2026, at the Bankhead Theater, where juried pieces will be transformed into a silent-film-style visual presentation set to live music. A selection of original works will also be displayed in the theater lobby and special exhibit during the Spring Art Show.
Spring Awakenings is a collaborative project between the Livermore Art Association (LAA) and the Livermore-Amador Symphony (LAS).
Juried artworks will be featured at the Livermore-Amador Symphony’s concert Spring Awakenings on April 11, 2026, at 7:30 pm at the Bankhead Theater. Selected works will be chosen based on artistic excellence and their ability to visually interpret the music being performed. The artworks will be photographed by LAA and assembled into a silent-film-style video created by a professional videographer, which will be shown during the concert.
In addition, a selection of the original juried artworks will be physically displayed in the Bankhead Theater lobby during the performance, near a staffed table hosted by symphony and artist volunteers. These works will also be exhibited as part of a special display during the Spring Art Show.
This collaboration is supported in part by a grant from the City of Livermore Commission for the Arts.
