
Join us in celebrating Livermore’s 150th anniversary through creative expression. The local community and artists are invited to create original work inspired by the city’s rich history, using photos and documents from the Livermore Heritage Guild’s online archives as a starting point.

There are no awards for this show.
Artwork can be for sale. A 20% commission on all sales will go to LAA.
Sold artwork must remain on display until the end of the exhibit.
Artists are responsible for insuring their work.
Insurance on all entries is the responsibility of the artist. LAA, City of Livermore or Livermore Public Library will not be held responsible for loss or damage during handling or exhibit.

Independence Hall - new. After 1936 WPA renovation
This 1882 brick building was renovated by the WPA in 1936. It started life as a bank and later became the City Hall. The windows are very different, and there are 7 rows instead of 3 on the west side. The fire station has two bays.

Bank of Italy around 1925
In 1922 the new Livermore branch office of the Bank of Italy opened. At one time it was the City Hall. It is now the home of the Independent Newspaper.
