The art show is displayed in the JMH Aspen Surgery Center in Walnut Creek. Because of this, it is not possible to hold a reception once the show is hung. However, that is not going to stop us from having a party!

We are going to hold artwork drop-off and the reception at the same time.

Friday evening, August 16

Artwork drop-off and hanging 5:30 - 6:45 pm,

Reception, judging and awards 7-9 pm.

Carnegie Park, Livermore

(artists - see Information for Artists for additional detail)

About The Theme

Joyful Moments

I admit I used Chat GPT to explore art themes around laughter, joy and health. It came up with exactly what I desired our theme to convey:

"Joyful Moments" celebrates laughter as a powerful and transformative force that transcends boundaries, bringing people together, and enriching their lives with happiness and well-being. It encourages artists and viewers alike to embrace the lighter side of life, find solace in humor, and appreciate the profound impact that laughter can have on our mental, emotional, and physical states."

Laughter is not simply a fleeting moment of amusement. It is a profound source of healing, connection and positivity.
